Info on Hotels and Restaurants:
Hotels tend to be very expensive in Baltimore during the Summer. Based on the number of attendees who needed to stay over in Baltimore, we were unable to book a group rate at the nearby Marriott Courtyard, which is within a short cab ride, or walking distance from the location of the seminar. Count on a room costing around 200.00. There are some cheaper hotels, such as a Days Inn, nearby, but you will need a car to get from there to Baltimore City.
There is a large variety of reasonably-priced venues, including vegetarian, within a few blocks in the beautiful waterfront neighbhorhood of Fell Point for participants to share and network during the lunch break. We have reserved space at Mezze, a wonderful, reasonably – priced Mediterranean Tapas restaurant a few blocks from Monave. Anyone desiring to eat somewhere else can consult a map of nearby restaurants that will be provided in your packet at registration. A simple breakfast of bagels, fruit, coffee and juice will be provided throughout the morning. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance, and we’ll accomodate them. Classes will end at 5:00 and anyone wishing to discuss wholesale opportunities will have a chance to do so then.
